Accumulation of surplus energy from PV and wind turbines (savings of PLN 200-500 per MWh compared to current energy prices).
Limiting consumption during peak capacity charge hours (7:00-21:00). Savings range from PLN 37.29 to PLN 219.40/MWh.
Buying energy during off-peak hours (night, midday); selling/using during peak hours. Savings of PLN 150-400/MWh.
Certification of available capacity and remuneration for readiness to operate. ~PLN 250,000/MW/year (depending on auction; currently no preferential conditions).
Automatic grid frequency regulation. FCR: PLN 100-300k/MW/year; aFRR: PLN 50-150k/MW/year.

Due to the investor's consumption profile, high CAPEX of the battery storage, its power and capacity limitations, energy efficiency, and marginal economic utility, the decision to invest should be preceded by a thorough ROI analysis considering all the above aspects, including, in particular, the actual wear and tear of the storage unit.
